It was 11:00 in the morning and I had been walking around Haverhill for a few hours when I finally made it to Water Street, which is the City's downtown. I hadn't been in Haverhill for around 20 years, and it seemed to have slid a bit during the interim, as exemplified by this store, with the piece of rope holding the door closed. However, the sign does say, "Wednesdays-Closed".
