This image of the New York City Midtown Skyline at sunrise is composed of 8 individual shots taken at 100mm. I took them at sunrise from the west side of the reservoir in Central Park. I went there to silhouette the buildings against the colors of the sunrise, but what caught my attention were the wooden water tanks that top almost every building. This was an expensive set of shots, because I got a $65.00 parking ticket–trying to park legally on the Westside around Central Park at 5:30 in the morning is no mean feat.
