This image of Goat Island Light in Cape Porpoise, Maine is composed of 4 individual shots taken at 280mm. I took them about 40 minutes before sunrise. When I left my house the sky was clear, and I was looking for a traditional colorful dawn, but by the time I got down to the water the sky had clouded over. However, the light on the Lighthouse set if off from the hulking sand, rockweed and water it presided over at low tide.
