This image of freshly fallen snow on a white pine in Arundel, Maine is composed of 10 individual shots taken at 200mm. I took these shots in the woods behind my house early one morning just after a heavy wet snowfall. It is one of the earliest merged images I attempted, and I spent about a week masking off the pine and its load of snow to separate it from the generally white background.
