This image of a snowy egret is composed of 8 individual shots taken at 200mm. I took them from one side of a boat launch on Julington Creek in Jacksonville, Florida. The egret was standing on the other side of the launch, and as I rushed to setup as quietly as possible, it ignored me, standing there preening and posing for a half an hour, still enough so that I was able to get multiple shots as if I were photographing a statue. Even a pair of kayakers and a couple with a canoe did not disturb this posing session.
