This image of the shore in Biddeford Pool is composed of 23 individual shots taken at 560mm. It was 5:00 and just after sunrise. I had been looking at these poles for years, and I finally went to shoot them. I used a neutral density filter so that I could make long exposures (30 seconds) which smoothed out the sea and sky.
