This image of a skunk cabbage in the Ipswich River Audubon Sanctuary in Topsfield, Massachusetts is composed of 8 individual shots taken at 200mm. The cabbage had just sprouted from the fresh water swamp in the Sanctuary, and, perched there with its companion tree, it seemed like the occupant of a miniature island.
