This image of the dawn in Coxsackie, New York is composed of 11 individual shots taken at 200mm. I have biked on the River Road many times, but never noticed this dead tree until the morning I took these shots. Silhouetted against the dawn it seemed stunning, and if you look closely at the right side of the image you will see a horse who found me equally fascinating.
