This image of a hillside on the Burr Trail in Southern Utah is composed of 6 individual shots taken at 200mm. I took them in the early morning near the beginning of the Burr Trail which is a paved and gravel road that connects Highway 12 with Lake Powell crossing through the Waterpocket Fold in Capitol Reef National Park. The texture of the land in Utah is a continual fascination. This particular hillside looked like a giant tortoise in the slanted light of the morning sun.
