This image of the Bass Harbor Marsh is composed of 14 individual shots taken at 100mm. I had originally gone out to photograph the Bass Harbor Light at sunrise, and I did take some shots of the Light in the fog, but I didn't end up doing anything with them. On the way back to the Seawall campground I passed this marsh. After going another mile or so down 102a, I decided to turn back and have a closer look. The detail of the marsh grass fading into the mist was nice, and I didn't notice the great blue heron feeding until after I had setup my tripod and camera.
